Finally! We got a chance to us our pass again this summer. It was also the first time Steve has been with us since sometime last Spring. We got there as the zoo was opening, it was a great morning to be out. It was getting hot by the time we left however it was low humidity so it wasn't too bad. Believe it or not, my husband complained about being hot more than I did. We almost always take a left once we get in the zoo and start with the giraffes but this morning we took a right and started with the indoor exhibits. I think it is less crowded doing it this way. Each time we pointed out an animal Cooper asked for "more animals please". I didn't get many pictures, we just enjoyed ourselves and our walk. It was my exercise for the week.
We were in the right place at the right time and Cooper got to pet snake again, this time we got a picture.
He also got to touch inside a polar bear's mouth. The lady showing the animals laughed at how many times a parent will jump back once their kid puts their hand in the mouth or go to pull it away, like the polar bear can really bite down.
He wasn't as afraid this time of the dinosaurs, maybe it just helped having daddy there.
