A few randoms

I have a few random pics from this past week.

One day last week the boys had dentist appointments.  Cooper is at the age where he goes back all by his self now and Cameron finally laid down without me.  This is just adorable!
They both had a great appointments.  I had bad teeth as a kid, no matter how good I took care of them, hoping I don't pass that on to them.

Last Friday I went to Big O for a oil change and to get my tires rotated.   The boys were in awe over my tires coming off.  I also found out I need new front brakes... yuck!

After Big O we headed to Bass Pro.  I have been running again and Steve has been urging me to get some pepper spray.  I feel so cool with this thing.  It's like I don't want to have to use it, but I want to.  Make sense?
My kids loved running around in the camping equipment.  I feel like they are sheltered.  Maybe one day.  Steve and I always joke that one day we are going to just buy a bunch of camping equipment and camp in the back yard.    I don't think I would last long in a tent.

Now this is totally random, but every time I walk into Bass Pro, I feel like I'm walking into...
Disney's Wildreness Lodge Resort.  I texted our travel agent and she agrees with me.  We are Disney nuts.
Today was our third swimming lesson.  I was little scared because Ms Lori wasn't there, her daughter took her place.  Both kids still did great.  I also managed to grab a seat to watch Cooper.  By the time Cameron and I change they are usually all gone.
Being brave, ready to jump in.
We  were going to head to the pool and meet some neighbors after our lessons.  They ended up not being able to come and at the time it wasn't very warm out so after lunch we went to Speed Park.   I haven't been since they added the new equipment.  They took out some of the older stuff and added a few new things.  It's also all together now.

Brave boys trying out the new big slide.

As you can by their face and hair, it got hot while we were there.   Cameron woke up early today, I'm hoping the time outside wore him out enough to take a long nap.

I feel like summer is just going right past us.  I think we have 43 days until school?  I have always liked the idea of a balanced school calendar, but I can see where it gets some criticism.  There isn't much we can do about it, just make the best of the time we have.

Family Fun Day

Yesterday we had a family fun day at Huber's.  I purchased a Groupon a couple weeks ago.  Seriously may have been one of the best deals I've gotten.  For $29 we got admission to the Family Fun Park for 4, 2 fossil mining bags, pizza and drinks for 4, ice cream for four, and a loaf of fresh bread.   It was at least an $80 value.  This would be great if they offered a couple times a year.

We got up there just before 11 and the weather couldn't have been better.  The slide was a huge hit.
Cameron's poor little legs must have been exhausted.  He slid over and over again, each time running back up the hill to do it again.
Even the big kid enjoyed a ride.
They are starting to understand this blogging mommy thing.  Every little thing we came to was, "take our picture".

When you live on a farm in Indiana what do you do?  You play basketball, of course.

We don't get many pictures together, it's nice when we can get a good one.
The fossil mining bags were pretty cool, just don't know if I would spend $7/each to do it.

We took a ride on the grain train.  Pretty neat to see every thing they plant and how big the farm really is.
I love my sun kissed babies.

We played for a while in the fun park, had some lunch, played some more, fed some fish, fed some goats, got some ice cream, picked up our bread, and called it a day.   If you see this Groupon out there again, you have to get it.  The fun park alone for 4 people is $24.   I feel like life has been hectic for one reason or another the past few weeks, not that we have had much going on, it's just has seemed busy.  It was nice to take a family day together.

Last game of the season

We had our final tee ball game of the season this past Tuesday.  I have to admit, when I got the schedule I seen there were 22 games I about freaked.  22 games for 4, 5, and 6 year olds?  However I was sad to see it end.  We've had a lot of fun.  We still have one more year of this league, makes this momma happy that the competition is put on hold for a while.

He's been pretty consistent all year with hitting.  Fielding needs some practice but there were a few kids on the team who were 6 and pretty good.   Bottom line is Cooper had fun and that's all that matters.

After the game they handed out trophys, but before that Cooper got to lead the team chant.  Love it!

He looks so proud of himself.  Coach Jason on the left is my nephew Layne's dad and Coach Jeremy on the right is the brother of friend from high school.  Good coaches on the tee ball league makes all the difference.

This is Layne, I think it made all the difference that he was on the same team as Cooper.  They are so cute together.

Team picture!
Funny face team picture!

Mad face team picture!

And just like that our season is over.  It's been fun!

I'm bout to get real obnoxious

I am about to get very obnoxious on y'all.  We had family pictures taken last weekend by Leslie Elder with Letography.  Seriously, she's awesome!  She did our family pics when Cooper was 18 months old, these were the first family ones since then.  Click here to contact her, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

These two are my favorite family ones.

When I'm in a nursing home rocking my baby dolls and singing lullabies, you may also find me clutching this picture.

I have no idea how I'll ever chose what to print.  Love them, Thanks Leslie!!!
