Round 2, here we go

As I mentioned before on Cooper's one year checkup his doctor said he had a slight ear infection and put him on antibiotics. When he was 3 1/2 months old he had his first ear infection and was given amoxicillian. After that I vowed he would never take it again. Those 10 days made bringing a newborn baby home look like a piece of cake. We always joke about the week we had the swing set up outside our bedroom door cause that was the only place he would sleep and even then it wasn't until about 3:00 am. He had horrible diaper rash, massive blowouts, it was awful. Ever since then we were given a different antibiotic. We went back to the doctor yesterday to check his ears and my fears were confirmed, the infection is still there. I had a bad feeling, he was up Saturday night with a fever. This time she gave us Augmenten (sp ??) which is amoxicillian plus another ingredient. So, here we go. We are going to start this morning and we have 10 days total. I just pray it's better than last time. I may be in a ride for 10 sleepless nights if not.

Good Luck with the new antibiotic Griffin had the same results with the Augmentin as he did the amoxicillin. Hopefully your experience will be better. Hang in there. Hope he feels better soon.
