They don't give the Versed to patients as young as Cameron so I missed out on the funny camera shot like I had with Cooper. He was getting a little squirmy and of course our doctor was late getting there so they didn't take him back till about 7:45. Surgery took about 5 minutes, the doctor came out and talked to us, he had some fluid build up again on both ears so I'm sure he was working his way into another infection. While he was talking to us someone else came in the reception room to let us know Cameron was awake. Boy was he ever! Crying doesn't even explain his mood. We tried giving him some juice, they want them to take clear liquids first to make sure they don't vomit, that didn't help. He screamed the entire way out of the building, all the way home, and about a half hour longer once we got home until he fell asleep. Woke up about an hour later, screamed on and off again for about another hour. Steve's parents had Cooper and when he came home and saw Cameron screaming he started crying. He kept saying he just wanted Cam to feel all better. It was almost lunch time before he seemed normal again. Cooper woke up from his surgery all smiles asking for food.
We finally got our little guy back and all of us took a good nap. Kids are still napping now. Glad it's all over and thanks for all the prayers. I told Steve after this experience I don't care how big his tonsils get those suckers are staying put.

I saw the title & I was like, "Oh my gosh, we have the same brain! That's what I texted her!"
Thanks for the shout-out! :)
Glad everything is going smoothly...now! ;)
Poor Baby!! Glad he is doing better now!!
Poor guy!! Glad that is behind you!! Brighter days are ahead!!
Happy to hear everything went well. . .except the screaming. We were warned that they may wake up "a different kid" after the surgery due to the meds. Glad he's doing fine now!
