School Friends

I know most of you know how much I worry about Cooper and making friends, especially as he grows older. I think he wants to be a part of the group when he sees other children playing, it's just he doesn't really know how to join. I was the same exact way so I know how that feels. I probably spent a good 3 years at IUS before I felt like I had friends there that didn't happen to be people I went to high school with. It can be painful.

I have been talking to him about his school friends recently and he always seems to mention the same kids. One girl is named Megan. Thursday while I was dropping him off another mom mentioned to me that all her little girls talks about is Cooper. "Cooper this and Cooper that", she said it was good to finally get a face with the name. I asked her what her girl's name was and it was Megan! You have no idea how happy this makes me. Most days when I drop him off he goes straight to his square and waits for class to begin while other kids are playing. It made my day!

That's great to hear. It's hard to be shy. Your baby is growing up. :)

Every time I pick Lilly up I ask her how her day was and what did she do. Almost every time she will tell me who she played with and Cooper is always mentioned. :)
