I'm so Excited!!!

I had a meeting this morning with Cooper's speech therapist for his annual review. Steve's mom and brother came over to watch the boys so I could actually carry on an adult conversation. I am happy to report that everything is coming along great! She can already see an improvement in certain sounds. She said he was very shy in the beginning but has warmed up to her and the other students and feels comfortable now. He even asks her for snacks. I think one day he mentioned he was hungry, which he does about 100 times a day, so he knows how to get snacks now. Steve and I have been talking about the possibility of reducing his speech from one day to two days a week. She didn't bring it up so I was hesitant to ask but went for it anyway.... she was on board! I am so thankful! He was going to school twice a week and speech twice a week and it was beginning to be too much. I don't want him to fall behind but at the same time I want him to enjoy his time while he can before he does start kindergarten. I was okay with waiting until the next school year to drop it but she agreed we could do it now. She felt we should drop our Wednesday session, which is what I wanted to do anyway. I am already in Charlestown for preschool on Tuesdays so now saves me a trip driving into town and we go to Peeps every week and not be late. I have been in a Bible Study on Monday mornings so for the past 7 weeks our only real free day was Fridays, now we will have all but Tues and Thurs.

Cameron was taking a nap when I got back home, he still takes a short morning nap, once he woke up Cooper wanted in the crib too. Notice Cameron's face in this one... he got upset because I walked back out to the camera.
