Birthday Celebration Part 1- Donuts and Drums

Cooper is four! Four seems so big, like he is 100% out of anything baby. It blows my mind. Although I still remember vividly the weekend before he was born I don't know what I really did with myself before then. He is such a fun loving, ball of energy little boy.
We started the celebration off by letting him choose his breakfast; donuts or chocolate chip pancakes. He chose donuts. He just gone done selling certificates for Krispy Kreme donuts, we got our certificates on Thursday so Krispy Kreme it was. We got our dozen and Steve let him pick out his own special donut. He was so excited to come home and tell me about his donut with sprinkles.
After breakfast was cleaned up it was time for his gift from us. I took both of the kids into the bedroom while Steve brought it out into the living room. He also set up the video camera so we could have his reaction. All he kept saying was, "I got my Christmas present, I got my Christmas present". It didn't take long for both of them to start banging away.

Luckily we have two sets of drums sticks, the one it came with and another set from his band in a bucket drum.

We didn't buy the stool to go with it but his rocking chair works perfect.

It didn't take long for these thing to make their way to the basement.

Hilarious you got him drums! But totally awesome. Heck, he might end up a big drummer one day, and these will be the pics he shows everyone, proving his early start. :)
