What's up with you?

That is the text I got last night from Gretchen.  It was then I realized I have been a little quite on the blog and social media outlets.  No real reason, we just haven't been up to much lately.  We have a busy weekend coming up, all beginning tomorrow, but right now we have been pretty low key.

We didn't have anything going on Saturday so we took the opportunity to hang out at home and just play.  Steve made a giant tent downstairs, also known as the Death Star.

It took about three times as long to put it up than it actually stayed up.

I got a call Tuesday morning to let me know speech was cancelled. It was a nice to have an unexpected day at home.  We don't get that a lot during the week.
Gave us plenty of time to do things like eat our snacks on top of the kitchen table.

Play under the Christmas Tree.

Watch cartoons while laying on the pillow pets.

Play the Kinect.

I've been busing getting everything ready for Cooper's preschool party on Friday.  Last year I bought some cute Santa ornaments half off.  They are just foam ornaments you decorate and glue their picture on.  The school always has extra pictures left over from picture day.   Those things have been a total pain.  First I realized the opening is way bigger than the picture is going to be.  I glued card stock on the back to reinforce it.  Then the strings were terrible and kept fraying and leaving the smallest of openings to actually hang it  I used ribbon instead.  Then I found out today the school hasn't gotten the pictures in yet. I guess we will just figure something out, they can also decorate them and wait for the picture later.

In addition to the school party we have lots of fun stuff planned the next few days.  Be on the look out for fun posts.
