Wee Ones Christmas Party

Cooper had his preschool Christmas party this morning.  It was so much fun and I'm so happy I was able to take part in it.  First I want to show off my pinterest skills and the snacks I made.

Do you know how good 29 sugar donuts smell?

Scott took the morning off to come to the party and surprise Cooper.  He was so wired.  Even before the party started the teachers said they weren't used to seeing him like this.  Our crafts were a Santa ornament with their picture, a jingle bell necklace, and a waffle cone to decorate as a Christmas tree.  Our games were a snowball relay toss, pass the candy cane, pin the ornament on the tree, and a reindeer antler toss.  They had a visit from Santa, yummy snacks, and a present exchange.  Such a fun filled morning.
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

This is his buddy Luke.  They are also in the same class at our Bible Study we go to on Thursdays.  I've heard they sometimes have to be separated cause they can get a bit rowdy.

Cooper & Scott tried the best they could to wait patiently while waiting on Santa.

He told Santa he wanted a telescope and more Lego's.  Wasn't aware of the Lego's.   Too bad the shopping is all done.

For the gift exchange we brought in a Spider-Man mask and he got some new Hot Wheels.

I feel so blessed to be able to enjoy these moments with Cooper and Lord willing with Cameron one day.  The past couple months have had some unexpected things come up that had me questioning how much longer I could continue to stay at home.  It's not that things are desperate by no means, we've just had to really think about and give up things we didn't really want to.  Including a weekend girls trip that has been planned for months.  Of course that is the risk you take when you try and raise a family on one income.  It's a huge blessing to be able to stay at home yet it also come with big sacrifices as well.  I just pray God can give me another 3 1/2 years.

Love all your snacks! So fun! Scott is a great uncle! Your boys are lucky to have him.
Keep hanging in there... There's always a plan for us. We may not know what it is (or like it very much), but He always provides. Always...
