Cooper had his first soccer game of the season this morning. I honestly thought it would be cancelled with all the rain last night, his game was at 9:00 and we hadn't heard anything by 8:00 we thought we should get the kids some breakfast and be on our way.
He really seemed to enjoy himself today, more so than practice. Maybe it was the 20 degree temperature drop.
He participated and really got in there to try and kick the ball. He even scored a goal! It was at the very end of the game right as they were blowing the whistle so I'm not sure it really counted. Although I don't think they keep score anyway.
Just look at this poor kid, messy hair and chewing on his finger. Don't let the sadness fool you, he got to play in the rocks three times.
After the game Scott wanted to take Cooper to get a new bike helmet and out to lunch. Oh me oh my, check out this helmet.
Here it is in all it's glory. We had three people stop us and say something about it while riding bikes.
Of course I can't do blog post without talking about the weather. It's been a while where I willingly wanted to go outside and play. It felt so great out there after lunch.
I also can't do a post without talking about football! So pumped that NFL opening weekend brought cooler weather. The Colts play the Bears tomorrow afternoon and then Peyton makes his Broncos debut tomorrow night. Can we say excited?
