Disney Day 1- Travel and Downtown Disney

After what seemed like two years of planning we finally made it!

Magic bands all around.

Thankful for short plane rides and easy travelers.

On the magical express bus to our resort.  By far our quickest magical express ride ever.  It can take up to 2-3 hours after landing to get to your resort, it was less than 90 minutes for us.

We were greeted by our favorite door man, Arneil.

Checking out the decor.

View from our balcony.  We stated at Port Orleans French Quarter this time, first time staying here, it was great.  It's smaller compared to most resorts so it was a quick and easy walk anywhere you wanted to go.

We only had plans for dinner at Downtown Disney, it's Disney Springs now but I'll always know it as Downtown.  Steve and the boys went ahead of us cause my mom needed to use the restroom and missed the boat, and since she has not clue where we were going, I stayed back.

I did get a fun surprise, they found their first PhotoPass person for our Memory Maker, prepay and you can download and keep all photos taken by Disney photographers.

We had dinner at T-Rex, similar to a Rainforest Cafe but with a dinosaur theme.

We had dinner in the ice room and the second picture may be my favorite of the whole trip.

Check our dessert.  All five of us ate on it and had still had tons leftover.

Best part of our resort was the boat to Downtown, a nice relaxing 15 minutes.

We called it a night and try to get a good night sleep and rest up for the rest of the week.  We were gonna need it :)

I like the prepay picture idea thing! Disney is so smart!
