More tee ball, more swmming, and even more teel ball and swimming

Our week has pretty much been summed up by tee ball and swimming, with a play date and dentist appointment thrown in there.

Tracey brought the kids over Monday morning to play for a while.  She thought it would be cute to take a picture with Maggie on lap and send it to everyone saying, "look who needs a girl".  Ha ha!!!  I'll just borrow yours for a while.   After they left we grabbed some lunch and headed to my mom's house so Cooper would play with Layne, my nephew.  Layne is 11 months younger than Cooper and for the first two years they were hardly ever together.  My mom watches Layne a lot so they are starting to become friends.  I love it that he has a cousin to play with now.

After a quick dinner we were off to a 6:00 game.   Cooper is having blast.  He has only used the tee once.   I think it was yesterday, he hit a heck of a line drive.  Usually he only tips the ball.

Tuesday morning we had dentist appointments for both of them.   Luckily Cooper does great.  While he was getting his teeth cleaned I was filling out a new patient form for Cameron while Cameron was sitting on the floor dumping everything out of my purse.  I had planned on making it Cameron's first visit, he let the dentist look at his teeth, but that's about it.
After their appointment we had a swim date with my friend Angie from church.  This little guy is becoming quite the fish.
Cameron is hit and miss at times.  He loves it but also gets tired easily.   I made the mistake once of bringing a bag of Chex Mix, so now he thinks he needs a snack.  He went through an entire bag in two trips to the pool.
We had another game Tuesday night.  See that little guy out on the dirt pile?  Yup, that's Cameron.  Gotta keep him occupied somehow.
Tuesday was also team picture day.  Cooper is second from the right on the bottom row.  He must be getting comfortable with his team, right before they took his picture he started sticking out his tongue.  Strange kid, I tell ya.
I had plans on only doing our grocery shopping today until my mom called me on the way home.  She asked if we wanted to come up to her house to swim.  Why not!  Cameron was in a mood though, he spent a good deal of time doing this.

Once I realized he was done, Cooper asked my mom if he could stay and swim.  Once she said yes, I hightailed it out of there.  I wasn't about to pass up an afternoon at home with just me and one kid, A NAPPING KID!!!!!   Cameron ended up sleeping for over 2 1/2 hours.  Oh the good ol' days.  I could have gotten so much done, but I'm not ashamed to admit I plopped down on the couch for almost the entire time.  Moments like that don't come around too often.  He didn't get up until Steve got home from work.  We picked Cooper up and went to Moe's for dinner.  Kids eat free on Wednesday.  It was yummy.  Cooper and my mom swam for over 3 kids, he was so tired tonight he was giddy.  It's good for him though.  Now I'm just relaxing in bed watching the Espy's, hoping to catch a glimpse of Tim Tebow.

Heck yeah, sit on your rump and enjoy the quiet/alone time! Those moments are fleeting! Glad Cooper has taken to swimming and he's enjoying his t-ball.
