Finishing out our week

This has been one of the busiest weeks we've had all summer.  As you know we went to Bowling Green on Monday and then on Tuesday we had a swim play date with Alicia and kids.  We were supposed to have a game that night but it got cancelled.  After two big days it was probably best for everyone.  Wednesday morning I had to exchange some shoes at the mall.  Cooper wanted to take a ride.  Oh my, he is almost too big for this.  Then of course that night we went to the fair.

This morning Tracey and I took our big kids to the $1.50 showing of Kung Fu Panda 2.  It's one thing I have been wanting to do all summer.  It was a last minute decision and we were both thankful our moms were available to watch the little ones.  This is only the second time Cooper has been to the movies.  The last time was 2 years ago when we went to see the original Kung Fu Panda.  Back then it was free.  He enjoyed his one on one time.

I think Levi did too.  It's always good to get that with the big kids.

As we were leaving some kid ran up to me and attacked my legs, I looked down and it was Cameron.  My mom had lunch plans so she brought him to me.  It was super cute, he was grinning ear to ear, his mommy was back.  Tracey picked up Maggie, we both grabbed lunch, and they stopped by for some more play time.  A great way to spend our morning.

We had another game scheduled for tonight but it got rained out.   That is three cancelled games in a row.  Our coach called and it doesn't look like we will make up any of the games.  So I guess our season is over.  Since Steve's parents and brother had planned on coming to the game they decided to go ahead and stop by our house.  The boys played their little hearts out.

We have also decided to this week to remove Cameron from First Steps.  We just don't feel a developmental therapist is the right fit for him.  I don't see him having articulation problems, just maybe a late talker.  There is a shortage of speech therapists so we can't get one.  I think we can work with him on our own just as much as a DT can.  He's also just so young.

Tomorrow is small group night again.  We have two couples on vacation so our next meeting in two weeks I will try and bring my camera and introduce you to everyone.  It's a great group.
