Easter Prep

Earlier in the week Cooper and I made resurrection rolls. This is something I have been wanting to do with him for a while but didn't feel like he would really understand. I wasn't so sure this year either, but when Steve got home Cooper told him all about it and right on. He was excited, I think because he knew it meant a special treat and he hadn't eaten much all week and wanted something good.I had all our ingredients ready to go. If you haven't made them, it's super easy. Roll a marshmallow in melted butter and cinnamon/sugar mix, then roll that up inside a crescent roll. Make sure you roll it up without any holes. Bake as directed on the package.

They come out like this,
then you open them up and it's empty, just like Jesus's tomb.Yummy, yummy, yummy! I really wouldn't know, I think I had a bite and Steve ate the rest after work.Saturday night we finally got around to coloring eggs.
3 of us colored eggs, Cameron ate goldfish.Cooper wanted to take some picture, wish this one had turned out better. He didn't have much to work with, with the blinds open. It makes me so nervous when he has the camera. I broke two cameras in less than two years. He also took this one.I never took a picture of the finished eggs, and since I boiled them on Wednesday and didn't color until Saturday, they need to be thrown away. After bath time we decorated with some stickers, and Cameron ate again.Such fun, fun times!
