6pm Outlet

Last week I got a call from my friend Angie asking if I wanted to go to the 6pm outlet with her today. It's the outlet that is in front of the Zappo's distribution center in Shepardsville. I knew she has gotten some good deals in the past so I was pumped and ready to go. Steve's parents came over to watch the kids and I had my game face on. First order of business was to get our crack. They open at 10:00 so we thought leaving around 9 would be no problem, right? That is until we hit the interstate.

See the time? This was around the Veteran's Parkway exit, we had already been on the road for about 10 minutes at this point.

And this is the time we made it across the bridge. I think I would shoot someone if I had to drive this everyday.

The thing about the outlet store is that it is hit and miss. It's mainly stocked with the returns that come from Zappo's. Angie said she has come back with a trunk full of shoes and other times just a few at a time. Everything is already 50%, some were 60%, and some were 70%. The big sale today was every brand starting with N was a flat $29. I didn't have much luck. I found one pair of Nine West but that's it. They also have clothes, I found a North Face pullover for a good price so it wasn't a total dud. Plus....look I got my picture taken with.

I think we look pretty good together.

So although I didn't find any amazing deals and come home with loads of shoes, I did have some girl time out and was able to eat lunch without having to worry about anyone else. And I got my picture taken with Edward Cullen, did I mention that?
