Field Day

The last three weeks of  school I have helped with the incentive reward day. a doughnut party, had lunch with Cooper, went to kindergarten celebration, talent show, and finally field day yesterday.  Who I am fooling, I love this stuff.

It was the perfect day for field day, even a little chilly in the morning.  Cooper's class started out with snow cones and getting sprayed by the fire truck so they spent most of the day freezing.

I worked the tire relay station so I only got pictures at my station.  Parents are really allowed to just come watch, we have to work.

He seemed to have a blast and I even got a few hugs in front of his friends, which I'm sure those days are numbered.

Cooper and his teacher Ms. Harbin.  I really could not have asked for a better teacher.  This lady is meant for kindergarten.  I can't imagine the patience it takes when you have some kids who can read when they start school and some who can't even hold a pencil.  I sure am going to miss her next year.

I know this is going to shock (wink wink) all my readers but I'm going to the PTO vice president next year.  I stayed after field day to help clean out and organize the PTO closet.  I fell asleep at 9 last night.  No joke.  I guess this 35 year old can't keep up with the little ones.
Like I said, I love things like this and being involved.
4 1/2 more hours and I will have a first grader!
