Fall Break Days 3 & 4

Sometime last week I gave Cooper the option of going to Chuck E Cheese or Bounce Time, thank you Baby Jesus he chose Bounce Time.

I asked Alicia if she would like to join us and they were game.  Cooper and Jake have different preschool schedules so there aren't quite as many play dates as before.  Although I'm not for sure if they even really played together much.  That's the nature of Bounce Time though, everyone is always running in opposite directions and it's impossible to get a good picture.  It was fun though, and thanks to the McAfee's for meeting up with us.

Wednesday night we had to the adult thing and get my new tires.  Boo, boo, boo!  My in-laws live down the road from Big O Tires in Clarksville so we did get a free home cooked meal out of it while we waited.  Yummy for that.

This morning Cooper had a doctor's appointment to re-check his ears.  Praise the Lord for a good report.  Let's hope they stay that way.  His appointment was at 10:15 and we were back home by 11:15, I'm pretty sure that is a record.
We have plans to go to Sharon's tomorrow so after lunch we made some spider cookies to take up there as a treat.  I found this on Pinterest, and they are super cute!!!

Steve got a little carried away with the camera.

I can't even begin to count how many Oreos, M&M's, and chocolate icing these kids consumed in the short amount of time it took the make these.

Our original plans for the week so to squeeze the zoo in there somewhere, then someone from small group suggested Boo at the Zoo.  We have never been with our kids, I think I went once 10 years ago when my niece & nephew were little.  I knew Steve wouldn't be crazy about the idea, he hates traffic and large crowds, I over ruled and decided we would try it out anyways.  I am so glad we did.  It was a blast!  We got there just before 5, got a great parking spot, and the crowds weren't bad at all.

Don't let this one fool you, it was all part of his act.

Cameron started off in his stroller, walked for a bit, then got back in.  It was quite the sight trying to buckle him back in while wearing this costume.
Cooper wanted his picture taken with just about every character.  Cameron was done after Snow White.

We all watched Jungle Book for the first time a couple weeks ago, we were all excited to see their characters.
I didn't know how long we would be there or how long it would take to walk through the zoo so I packed a picnic dinner.  Steve called me Tonna, which is his mom's name, I just kept bringing stuff out of the bag.  It was like the never ending lunch pail.
This little one melts my heart more and more each day.

As Cooper was getting his picture taken with the pirates, I could hear a little voice from the stroller, "no mommy, no mommy".
We had a few people ask us what/who Cooper was, most people guessed mad scientist correctly.  At one point I told him he should just tell them Doc Brown, from Back to the Future. I can't remember what Batman said to Cooper but it had something to do with Marty McFly.  So there is at least one person who would have gotten my joke.
Of course Steve told me I needed to get this Wonder Woman costume.
 Love!

We had a great night!  Sadly, we did not meet up with our small group friends.  They were running late and leaving their house as we were walking in.  This will definitely become a tradition.

THANKS for inviting us! I thought the same thing about them playing together! ha! I heard Jake say a couple of times, "Where's Cooper? I want to play with him!" ha!

LOVE the cookies!!! We might have to whip those up!

The zoo looks fun!! We might try to make it over there this fall. We'll see. Glad it wasn't crowded. That's my fear!
