Wee Ones Christmas Party and Program

Wee Ones just had a super busy week.  2 Christmas parties, 2 Christmas programs, and a field trip.  The Tuesday and Thursday class ended up having their party and program the same day.  No field trip for them just yet.

First let me back up, I'm blogging two days in a row. I even have some more fun things planned this week, but don't hold your breath on those.

Back to the topic. Hands down the best part of the Christmas party was not having to worry about a sitter, and I didn't plan it.  I got to to sit back and enjoy with this cutie.

Our party planner was awesome!  We had like 4 or 5 crafts and a couple games.

I did end up running one game so I didn't want around with him.

After games and story time the big guy showed up.

Then it was time for snacks, or lunch if you will.  Back in my party planning days we had snacks, this time around it was a full blown lunch with Chick-fil-A nuggets.  You won't find me complaining though since there were enough for the parents too.

Finally it was time for they were all ready for; the gift exchange.  He came home with a couple new light up cars and a bag full of goodies and a new Pete the Cat book from the teachers.

Later that night it was off the Christmas program.  I'm not gonna lie, these always stress me out.  Trying to get the kids fed and cleaned up and back to the school on time, or early to get good seats, stresses me out!!!  It wasn't my first rodeo and I knew to be there at 6 for a 7 program.  I had a perfect view and this guy as ADORABLE!!!

When they did Away in a Manger I just wanted to run up on stage and give him a giant squeeze.

Having a second child go through the same program makes me realize even more how quickly times passes.  I was just there watching Cooper in his first program so I know I will be walking in there any day now for Cameron's graduation.  Living in the moment is something I need to get better at.
The days are long the years are short.
