Christmas Eve 2015

Christmas Eve is my very favorite day of the year.  So many fun things going on and nothing beats anticipation.
We started off our day by Paolo the elf's good-bye gift. A plastic candy cane filled with Spree's, breakfast of champions.

The real breakfast came a couple hours later with this gal.  Love our tradition and if we ever miss a year you may find me in a fetal position.

We tried to get a good picture of the kids and this is what we got.  I'm about 99% sure Cameron got switched at birth.

The hubbies were both working so we scoped the place out for someone under the age of 75 to take a group picture.

Again, my kids!

We spent the rest of the day at home until church service at 5:00.

Family selfie

They have been taking pictures all season long in front of some lit trees and we finally took advantage of it on Christmas Eve.  Since there wasn't anyone else in line and we know the photographer we did a funny one.

After service we headed to Scott's house to celebrate with Steve's aunt and cousins.
 Cameron found his spot.

Insert proud, proud momma moment here... Cooper read the Christmas story for us.  I helped him with a few words and of course some names and places, but other than that he nailed it.  I think the torch has been passed.

Steve's family knows me so well.. check out this gift!

Cameron once again fell asleep on the way home so it was left up to Cooper to pour out the reindeer food and sit out the milk and cookies.

Love this picture!!!

Merry Christmas Eve!!!

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on Earth peace among those with whom he is pleased".

Luke 2:13-14
