A week long recap

I have had intentions on blogging every night this week but time go away from me, so you get one whole week thrown into one.

Last Saturday we broke out the big guns and gave the boys a bubble bath in the big bathtub.  In two years I have used this, on my own, 1 time.  I need to get in here more often, it looks so relaxing.

My first goal of summer was to potty train Cameron, I felt like once we slowed down with school it would be easier.  The problem is we haven't slowed down at all.

On Monday we met Tracey and kids at Silver Creek Primary playground.  The kids ran around and played for almost an hour and a half.  It was also cold, I had to borrow a jacket from Tracey. Who know I would be cold taking my kids to the park in June.

On Tuesday I had a brunch with the servant's team and new leaders for Community Bible Study.  I'm getting excited for this new adventure God has placed in my life.  Afterwards I met my mom at the park and Cooper went home with her and my niece and nephew.  I took Cameron home to nap, nothing is greater than a little quiet time.  We met back up that evening for Cooper and Layne's game.

On Wednesday the boys started swimming lessons at SIGS.  Cameron is in a parent/tot class, he wouldn't do much with Ms Lori, hopefully he will warm up to her as the weeks go on.  Cooper enjoyed his class.  Lori gave me the option of doing both together since Cameron is the only one signed up, but I think Cooper likes doing it with the other kids.  I think he will also be more brave with them.  We finished up our night with another tee ball game.

My mom was off again on Thursday, she wanted some strawberries from Huber's, so we made a day out of it.  Layne had spent the night with her, Cameron tries as hard as he can to keep up with the big boys.

Layne stayed with us through dinner.  Cooper only has 4 cousins and Layne is the closest in age to him.  I can't tell you how happy I am they are getting closer.

On Friday we met Alicia and her gang, minus Sam, at Chick-fil-A for lunch and playtime.  Two more Jazzercise girls showed up with their boys, needless to say it was a mad house in that play area.  After lunch Cooper had an ENT appointment.  All is good with him, but Cameron's tonsils are about a 3+.  We are going to keep an eye on them.  The doctor mentioned possibly just removing adenoids.  I have never met a single person who had their adenoids removed and not turn around and do tonsils later.  We shall see.

Today was booster day, finally!  It's been rescheduled twice due to rain.  First was parade at 9, I worked the concession from 11-12, game at 12:30, we are now waiting on our cable guy, then we have a birthday party this evening.   Seriously, who has time for potty training?

We dropped Cooper off with his team before heading to the ball park to find a spot on the parade route.  I held my mom nerves in check while thinking about my baby riding in the back of a truck without me.

Cameron was all smiles waiting for the parade to start, he was ready for the candy.
I love his little hands here.

Here they come!
 Here comes our team.
Where's Cooper?  He's the head second from left.  Such a cutie!  We got loads of candy, think Halloween in June.

We have one more game this week and we are done.  It's went by quick, I about died when I found out he had 22 games.  It's been fun though.

I was thinking I might get a better shot at potty training this week, we have swim lesson and a dentist appointment that I know of.  As long as he doesn't wear a diaper to kindergarten, I'm okay!  All jokes aside, he has been doing pretty good.  Even while we are out and he has on a diaper on, sometimes will tell me he has to go.  We will get there, one day :)

Good Luck on the potty training!! Madelyn is finally trained. I don't know if it will work for Cameron but you may want to try pullups for awhile then put him in underwear. Once they get the fill of the underwear they love it.

Butterfly had his adnoids (sp?) removed when he was 13-15 ish & that corrected his problems. He never had his tonsils removed later.
