We made it through the weekend and Cooper did great. No fever, rash is almost gone, and he acted just like himself. He slept last night from 8:30-6:30, it was great.
Last night Steve and I watched the videos we tapped from when Cooper was first born, it was so sad seeing how much he has grow. Although I did mention that it gives me anxiety just thinking about those first few weeks. Things are sooooo much easier now.
Sunday was also my first weekend helping out in the nursery at church. It was fun. We had 7 babies, which is a little busy, but we were able to bring in some extra help. I'm so used to dropping Cooper off and him having no problem, it was a little different with the kids reaching a year old and getting some separation anxiety. I don't know how I'm going to handle it when I have to drop Cooper off one day and he screams for us.
Not much else happened this weekend. Steve had to work, but it should be his last one. He works one more Sunday in March and then in April he starts his new job. We are super excited, well I am at least. He will be getting off at 3:30 every day, compared to 5:30 or 6 now. Right now it's very tough to get things done when neither one of us gets home till almost 6.
Oh yeah, work is going okay for now. I would much rather be at home with my little guy, but for now we have to do what we have to do. I'm just being patient that something will work out for us.
Have a great one!
